“I am so very fortunate to have the honor of scanning and archiving all of my grandfather’s negatives, slides, polaroids and prints.
He was an amateur photographer, but he never put down the camera.
I have a room full of his negatives, slides, prints and camera equipment. I am only scratching the surface with what i’ve found and scanned already. Some of the negatives were literally buried on a shelf never to be looked at again.
My grandfather Dean was born in 1918 and is still living in Salt Lake City. “Deano” as everyone knows him, served in WWII and Korea while sustaining gunshot wounds that left one bullet lodged in his upper arm to this day. (We like to show that off to people, though they tend to draw their hands away quickly after touching it.)
Deano was a world traveler and a family man. He was married with three daughters. He has 17 grand-children, 47 great grand-children and 6 great great grand-children.”
